HLDAS Application on Ｓelection of Racing Pigeon for Breeding
黃氏認證在選種上的應用
When selecting a pigeon for breeding, what I used to do before applying HLDAS had been:
1. Selection based on past breeding result.
2. Selection based on racing result.
3. Selection based on pedigree.
4. Selection based on visionary/hand observation on their posture, wing, back, waist, shape, color of muscle etc... and feeling when held on hand. including quality of plumage, shape and quality of keel, quality and volume of muscle etc.
HLDAS, solely use the information decoded/digitized from photo of eyes of racing pigeon eye to present its physical/orientation traits and its correlation with four major racing conditions, ie. Wind Factors, Temperature, Distance, Visibility etc. for various applycations, including, Selection, Paring, Daily, Training and Pooling Mangement, Trading of racing pigeon. Ithas not been developed to replace the above, but, an additional reference.

運用黃氏認證之前, 我運用的選種參照如下:
1. 該鴿過去的育種成果
2. 該鴿過去的比賽成績
3. 該鴿的血統表
4. 該鴿的體態,手感, 眼睛,龍骨,翅膀,肌肉,羽質...等外觀.
黃氏認證純粹針對賽鴿眼睛的照片所透漏的訊息進行解碼,數位化並圖型化用來描述賽鴿的生理及定向特質,並與主要的比賽環境(諸如: 風力係數, 溫度, 距離, 能見度)掛勾. 運用於選種, 配對, 日常/訓練/插組等管理工作,交易買賣的參考. 是用來補充而非取代上述的參照.

1.The blue chart:
These three curves belongs to 1st/2nd/3rd prize winners in a 5 sea crossing race series from north of Taiwan in Dec of each year. Thire curves are so similar to each other. The series is organized year after year racing conditions of which are various, but we speculate that there is similarity in between.
2.The red chart:
Curve of Group of HLDAS breeders were merged into the curves of the three in blue chart to see which breeders have curve similar to the three winners As one can see the arrow on the chart point to a green curve which is closest to the three.
3. 1.The montage of pigeons:t:
The white pigeon at lower left corner of the montage is the green curve to which the arrow on the red chart point at. He becomes a candidate for breeding the racer for the same series in the years to come. More HLDAS breeders shall be compared with .the three for, eventually, making a couple wanted.
1.藍色曲線圖: 是2007年北海冬季入賞全會前三名的曲線. 非常相像.
2. 紅色曲線圖:
將黃氏認證種鴿的區線併入藍色曲線圖就可看出箭頭指向的一條綠色曲線是與前三名曲線最貼近的.
3. 黃氏認證種鴿組圖:
右下角白鴿,就是紅圖那條綠色曲線的主人. 他將成為未來作出北海冬季選手的種公. 更多黃氏認證種鴿將被做同樣的比對來組成一個配對. 北海冬季比賽環境會有諸多變化, 只能期待其有共通之處, 提高獲勝機率.
